The standard form of the Ohana Table has aclassic rectangular tabletop and elegant angled legs that are joined into the table apron. While it’s a familiar, modern form, what sets this table apart is the quality hardwood and intentional joinery process that creates an enduring, beautiful place for gathering throughout the day. 

Many homeowners will recognize a midcentury and Scandinavian-leaning style due to the angled leg placements. However, compared to the commonly tapered and conical furniture legs of midcentury furniture, the legs of the Ohana Table are made from a rounded rectangular column and maintain a consistent thickness. Because this is a custom dining table, it’s unique to every home and designed to seamlessly become a part of your lifestyle.

The beauty of this piece begins with the solid wood tabletop. Our team carefully selects boards that match in color and grain to create a cohesive, personalized aesthetic. Beyond the tabletop joinery, its overall flatness is supported by a pair of robust steel c-channels. To create a sturdy foundation, the legs are joined by mortise and tenon into a low-profile rectangular apron. This assembly is then attached to the tabletop with hardware. Each table is made to order in our workshop, allowing us to tailor the table size and edge profiles to fit seamlessly with your personal space and style.

The thick tabletop is 1-1/8”, which allows the table to be refinished multiple times over throughout its lifetime. Commercial tables available at a similar price point typically feature 1/64” of hardwood, which is more likely to wear down over time and expose the plywood or MDF beneath.
