Machine Wash cold - alone.
Tumble Dry low
*do not let finished quilts air-dry, as the hand-dyes must dry more quickly than air-drying typically allows.

Cherrywood fabric is colorfast. As with ALL textiles, keep Cherrywood out of prolonged harsh sunlight, and it will retain its rich color.

Use steam, or lightly spritz with water and use a dry iron when pressing Cherrywood fabrics to keep them looking crisp.

Nā Mea Maile

Aunty Maile, or Dr. Maile to many, is a retired Native Hawaiian pediatrician. Her quilting style is informed by a lifetime in medicine, wellness, and hula.

With the influence of natural materials, craft, and costumes of Hula and 'Ori Tahiti (Tahitian dance) close at hand, Aunty Maile loves to emphasize nature's abundance through vibrant colors, lush plant & ocean patterns, references to the seasons, and playful stitching.
