Maui Monkeypod Centerpiece

This centerpiece is carved from Maui grown Monkeypod. The tree was harvested in Lahaina in 2019 after becoming compromised from a high wind storm and later slabbed by Raja. It followed JOHI as we moved shops from Maui to California and has finally been pulled out, along with a few other slabs, to be turned into some creative and unique decor products.
The monkeypod's color goes from yellow to chocolate as the grain playfully dances with the tray's curving geometry.
We imagine this atop a grand dining table or console, a storage place for fruits, knick knacks and all the other wonders of deep jacket pockets.

Yes. We are a wood-focused manufacturer! We make our products from a combination of raw materials and sourced components (ex. metal hardware) directly in our manufacturing workshop, located in Watsonville, California.
For collaboration products, we always identify if we work with other independent craftspeople, manufacturing studios, and fellow product designers.
Do you ship across the USA?
Yes. We ship orders nationwide, including Hawaii (where we were founded!).
Some products ship fully assembled. Some products ship flat for assembly once received.
