Care Tips

Handwash only with warm (not hot) water and light soap. Dry immediately with towel & allow piece to fully air dry on a rack or on its side. Ensure proper air flow as it dries so that no side sits wet for extended periods of time.

You can also wipe clean with a food safe, natural cleaning product.

Never clean with harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive surfaces. Never run through a dishwasher. Always dry fully.

RECONDITIONING: As pieces like this get used, you'll begin to see the wood drying out. Depending on frequency of usage, this may be in < year. It may be in 1-2 years. When you notice the wood looking dry, recondition the surface with a food contact safe, natural oil finish. Natural wood pieces can live a long life with just a little care.
