Wipe clean with a warm, damp cloth and light soap. Or, handwash with warm (not hot) water and light soap.

Dry immediately with towel, then allow piece to fully air dry on a rack or on its side. Ensure proper air flow as it dries so that no side sits wet for extended periods of time.

Never run through a dishwasher. Always dry fully.

Never clean with harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive surfaces.

RECONDITIONING: As pieces like this get used, you'll begin to see the wood drying out. How quickly will depend on frequency of usage and climate. When you notice the wood looking dry, recondition the surface with a food contact safe, natural oil finish. You could also recondition your board on a regular schedule, for example, every 2-3 months. Make sure to follow the natural finish's specific instructions. Natural wood pieces can live a long life with just a little care!

We provide a one (1) year structural warranty for interior uses of our cutting boards, which begins on the date of delivery. If, within the Warranty Period, your cutting board product fails structurally, we (JOHI LLC) will at our own option implement a repair or replacement.

Finishes are not warrantied. Natural wear and tear should be expected, as no finish is completely resistant to marks or scratches.
