We founded JOHI in 2019 on the island of Maui, Hawaii. Nowadays, we run our studio in Santa Cruz County, California - still within reach of plenty of waves.
In the early days, JOHI operated from our co-founders' garage, before expanding our dreams in a small pineapple hangar in Haliimaile town. On Maui, Molokai, and Oahu, we worked with local business owners, homeowners, renters, and interior designers to bring locally made visions to life.
Today, from our 4,300 square foot workshop on the California central coast, we are thrilled to work with a wider group of community partners, including homeowners, interior designers, interior decorators, architects, general contractors, and hardworking small business owners just like us throughout the US. We frequently work in the San Francisco Bay Area, Santa Cruz, Monterey, Carmel, and up & down the West Coast.
